American Coth Rollinson Doll by Gertrude F. I thought he always looked like a Timothy and is wearing a pair of Wrecker Racoon coveralls. You can see this doll's reference on p. 254 in the 12th edition of Doll Values by Linda Edward. These dolls were hand painted and hand-sewn by Gertrude F.No repaint or restoration to any part of Timothy. He has the usual, missing paint from his hair and face. His body is oil paint over a stockinette. The torso is a satin-like cotton. His arms and legs have been sewn to joint the knees and elbows. He has sewn fingers and toes. There is so much character and depth.
His eyebrows and hair are the light sandy brown. The lips, nostrils, fingernails and toenails are the same pinkish color. There is alway a question as to whether these are Rollinson or Chase Dolls. The shade of the pink is always a true telltale sign. Please see pictures as they are part of the description. Important, please wait for your invoice before paying.
