31 Antique 19th C Signed Still Life Oil Painting Canvas Cherry Basket Beauty

For sale is a nice Antique 19th century still life oil on canvas painting with original wooden stretcher frame. The painting depicts perfectly ripen summer cherries with a picking basket and a glass tasting bowl. Fresh scent of zesty cherry spills through this classical summary imagery. Given the corner key stretcher style, this is certainly an original 19th century artwork. There is a symbolic signature at the bottom left corner.

Not sure who is the painter. Let me know if you have a clue. The painting has the best choice of color for a relaxing late summer scene like this. Dark background with classical triangle arrangement. It is a sweet moment of memory coming alive. Perhaps a fair lady just hand picked these fruits from the tree outside? The frame measures approximately 31" by 21". The painting is in good condition considering its age. One puncture is observed at the upper left area among the dark leaves. Original wooden gesso frame with carved gilt border. There are a few losses to the gesso moldings.

Age appropriate surface wears and minor paint imperfections are to be expected. Please zoom in to see the detail. Overall, it is a fantastic 19th century American oil painting.
