It is now in excellent condition as is the fine wood frame it resides in. The canvas is no longer on its original stretcher bars but was removed and secured in an archival manner to a solid Birchwood plywood substrate.

This is built to last hundreds of years! The painting was cleaned and re varnished prior to being put in its new custom made solid wood frame.

It will need to by hung on the wall in a stud or very secure wall anchor. This is a magnificent piece that will compliment any fine art collection. Born in Naples, Italy in 1877, Died in 1959. One of Seven Brothers, some of them are also artists, but he is the most famous one. Studied in Naples and was noted for his paintings of the Italian coasts near Bay of Naples, Capri and Amalfi.
