A perfect vintage landscape painting for an eclectic cottage decor. Fern Lord Herring was born in Excelsior Springs, MO on March 22, 1895, the daughter of George Lord, Sr. Early works by the artist have appeared in the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives. She married Edgar Herring and moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. There she became a well known Wyoming artist among those painting in the area in the 1930's & 40's and continued painting until her later years.Her work has exhibited in the Wyoming State Museum as well as in Excelsior Springs.
