Quality Oil Painting "Tranquil River Landscape" Attributed FRED BALSHAW? Balshaw was a regular exhibitor between 1888 and 1914, mostly in the North of England, including Manchester, Rochdale and Bolton, where his painting. He also exhibited at the Royal Academy. Medium- Oils on wooden panel. Size- 12.5 by 9 inches approx including frame. Condition- Generally good for its age though some very light varnish browning in places. Frame- Later wooden gallery frame, some knocks, offered free with the painting.
