Presented for your consideration is this interesting antique oil painting. The painting is oil on canvas which has been placed on board (or canvas board). It shows two cats sitting next to each other.

One cat is dark brown with black stripes and the other is all white. They sit with their front paws together and their heads slightly titled. They sit against a dark background. Nice, intricate detailing and rich colors are throughout.

There is no artist signature so we are unsure as to who painted it. The painting is framed in a dark gold gilt, ornate wooden frame, adding some elegance to the painting. On the back of the frame is a small card with a short bit of history about this painting being given as a wedding gift.

This great looking painting would make a wonderful addition to any art or cat themed collection! A neat piece to hang in a vet office! Some light flaking of the paint is around the interior edge along the top.

Frame shows some stress cracking in various areas, please refer to the photos. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
