Small Antique Elaborately Framed Seascape on Canvas

A delightful small seascape mounted in an extremely attractive, elaborate and heavy frame for its size. I believe it to be oil on canvas.

Age: Going by the frame and mounting construction, which all looks original. Possibly circa 18th -19th century. According the very limited amount of info I can decipher on the back without disturbing the frame.

I can only take a calculated guess that one word is Hamburg (Germany). Size: Seascape 6"x 4.50". Overall Condition: Very good for age.
