Vintage Signed Xavier Cugat Oil Painting Lovers Original Frame

One of Xavier Cugat's most popular works. Painting is 8x10 and frame is 13.5x15.5.

Too relax in his free time, (he was a band leader like Ricky Ricardo's character on I Love Lucy) he would paint. He often painted the same (similar) characters over and over. That's why most are 8"x10". It was easy to carry his supplies and art boards with this small size.

The originals all have minor variations, where the serigraphs do not. He was also a cartoonist for the LA Times and these were characters in his cartoons.
